Moon Into Scorpio: Fill Your Cup Before the Fall

The Sun is halfway through the Six of Cups now. Halfway through the yard. The kids are still there. The cups of flowers are still being handed out.
And today, the Moon shows you how to fill your cup. Because by the end of the day, you're going to need it.
The Night Shift: Moon Sextile Mars
In the middle of the night, the Libra Moon sextiles Mars in Leo. Air to fire.
Mars is the one holding the shears. The one walking through the garden with Jupiter, cutting back what got overgrown.
So before you're even awake, the Moon picks up a little of that nerve. A little courage. The willingness to make the cut you've been putting off.
You might wake up already knowing what you're done with.
The Crack of Dawn: Moon Meets Venus
At the crack of dawn, the Moon meets Venus. A conjunction.
And look at this. The Moon is in Libra. Venus rules Libra. So the Moon is walking right up to the owner of the house. The queen of the night sitting down with her landlord at sunrise.
Venus is still retrograde. Still reviewing what she actually values. And she's starting to pull away from Jupiter. Their sextile is separating.
But she'll be back.
She has to finish her review first. Then, once Venus turns direct and walks back over that ground, she'll meet Jupiter again. So this isn't goodbye. It's "I'll see you later." Venus is stepping back to finish her review, and she'll come back knowing exactly what she wants to grow.
So when the Moon meets Venus this morning, she gets the report. What's worth keeping. What still has value. What you'd choose if nobody was watching.
And with the Sun in the Six of Cups, something familiar might come back around. An old offer. An old connection. An agreement you made a long time ago. Venus is asking whether it still has value, or whether you're just used to it.
Feel that before you check your phone.
Early Morning: Moon Sextile Jupiter
Then, right around the time you start moving around the house, the Moon sextiles Jupiter. Another air to fire.
Good spirits. Generosity. Opportunity. A little luck in the air.
So that's three gifts before breakfast. Mars gives you the nerve. Venus gives you the values. Jupiter gives you the good spirits.
And the Moon doesn't just pass through them. She carries each one into the next.
But a sextile is an open door, not a delivery. You still have to walk through it.
Take them. Fill your cup.
Because you're going to need those sextiles by the time we reach lunch.
Lunchtime: Moon Opposite Chiron
At lunchtime, the Moon opposes Chiron in Aries.
The wound. The one Venus has been in a tug of war with this whole stretch. And the Moon just came from sitting with Venus at dawn. So she carries Venus's question straight across the sky to Chiron.
Was it worth what it cost?
You might feel it in the middle of the day. An old sensitivity. A comment that lands harder than it should. A memory of the time you had to fight for something by yourself. Aries is the wound around standing up for yourself, and Libra is the need to keep things balanced. So the old hurt might sound like, "Why do I always have to be the one?"
So ask yourself. Where does standing up for yourself turn into defensiveness? Where does keeping things fair mean ignoring something that hurts? Where are you telling yourself you're fine with something that actually needs attention?
That's why you filled your cup this morning.
You don't have to fall into the wound. You can look at it with the courage Mars gave you, the values Venus gave you, and the good spirits Jupiter gave you.
Chiron asks one thing. Is the old wound going to decide what you do with those gifts?
You're not facing it empty.
Sunset: The Moon Falls Into Scorpio
By the time the Sun gets ready to set, the Moon crosses into Scorpio. Her fall.
The Moon is comfort. Safety. Feeling at home. Scorpio is deep water. Secrets. Intensity. The well.
In her fall, the Moon has a harder time feeling safe. Feelings go underground. You might get guarded. You might feel everything at full volume and still not want to say a word about it. Trust gets tested.
Libra keeps the peace. Scorpio wants to know what's underneath the peace.
And look whose house she falls into. Mars rules Scorpio. Aries too, which is where Chiron is sitting. The same general who handed her the nerve in the middle of the night. Last night she borrowed his courage. Tonight she's sleeping in his house.
And remember, the Sun is in Scorpio too, walking through the Six of Cups. So the Moon falls right into the yard full of memories. Some of what comes up tonight is going to be from way back.
Late Night: Moon Square Pluto
And by the time the late news comes on, the Scorpio Moon squares Pluto in Aquarius.
Pluto is power. Control. The stuff under the floorboards.
That doesn't mean the night goes bad. It means there's a pull. So late tonight, watch for the spiral. The obsessive thought. The urge to check their page again. The power struggle that starts over something small and turns into something big. The feeling that you have to control the outcome or it'll all fall apart.
Don't send the text. Don't make the midnight decision. Don't start the fight at eleven o'clock that you'll have to clean up at eight.
Pluto wants you to see what's underneath. Fine. Look at it. Write it down. But let the Moon get out of the deep end before you act on it.
Fill Your Cup
So here's the shape of the day.
The morning hands you gifts. Nerve. Values. Good spirits.
The middle of the day touches the wound.
And the night drops you into deep water.
That's not bad luck. That's a day with a plan. The sky is giving you what you need first, so you're ready for what comes later.
The morning asks what you're willing to reconnect with. The afternoon asks what still hurts. The night asks what you need to face.
And the real question for the whole day:
Can you recognize an opportunity without carrying the old wound into it?
So ask yourself:
What did I wake up already knowing I'm done with?
What does Venus tell me is still worth keeping?
What good thing can I take in this morning before the day gets heavy?
When the old wound shows up, am I facing it full or empty?
What will I not do after the late news comes on?
The kids in the yard are still handing out cups.
Take one early. Drink up. You're going to need it.
