A mother early into her years of parenting with a 4 and 2 year old speaking to a single dad with a 21 20 and 17 year old clearly we are at opposite ends of the parenting journey. Do you have any advice for me? Well parenting is pretty much a “I can’t wait till--- thing.” I can’t wait until you can hold your own bottle. I can’t wait until you can feed yourself. I can’t wait to get out of diapers. I can’t wait until you can get in and out of the car without my help. I can’t wait until you can do your homework on your own and so on and so on. They didn’t tell us when we graduated that 1 day you will have to repeat at least up until 7th grade again because your helping with homework and they know damn well those projects parents have to get involved. Honestly I wish I would have known astrology way earlier into being a parent because I would have parented to my kids energy it would have made things a lot easier.
